Siamese twins

It is rare but sometimes twins are born conjoined, meaning their bodies are attached in some way. Until recently, there was no way to separate some of them depending on how their bodies were connected. They used to be called Siamese twins because of the famous conjoined twins Cheng and End Bunker who lived in Siam in the 1800's. Today they would have been easily separated, but it could not be done back then. They traveled in shows, were both married to different women. Cheng had 10 children, and Eng had 11. Cheng got pneumonia and died on January 17, 1874. Eng refused an attempt to be separated and died 3 hours later.

God has some Siamese twins that cannot be separated:

D. Consecration and anointing

1. Aaron and sons – Ex 28:41, Ex 29:7-9, Ex 30:30, Lev 8-9 (8:30-33), Lev 16:32

The devil also has some Siamese twins:

A. Sin and death – Gen 2:17, Eze 18:4 & 20, Prov 8:36, Rom 5:12-14, Rom 6:23, Rom 8:2,

Idolatry and fornication are not conjoined , but they do go hand in hand.

1. Ex 32 - the golden calf

2. Lev 18 - the Canaanites

3. Num 22-25, Num 31:16, Rev 2:14

4. 1Cor 10

Idolatry is more than bowing before statues and calling them God. It is placing anything in God's place, including and especially self (Gen 3:1-5). This is self-gratification which is why it is a twin of fornication.
